Former Californian and current Berliner based artist Mateo, who also share gallery with Johan Potma (mentioned in the last blog entry), have also perfectly depicted my feeling of mornings.

I am sure I have never met Dutch artist Johan Potma, but this is generally how a morning portrait of me would look like. With a base in Berlin, he makes monsterish artwork like this.

When I grow up, I will produce small Yoshitomo Naras

When I grow up, I will produce small Yoshimoto Nara-babies, dress them up in animal costumes and make an army of cute and angry children!

Turning 50 years this year, Yoshitomo Nara's artwork is suprisingly young-looking.
I long thought that Yoshimoto Nara was a 30ish young female.

I adore the angry expressive figures and figurines.
