Attacked by Takashi Murakami's army of mushrooms

I would guess Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has a secret fear of mushrooms, when naming this artwork "Army of mushrooms".

When I grow up, I will produce small Yoshitomo Naras

When I grow up, I will produce small Yoshimoto Nara-babies, dress them up in animal costumes and make an army of cute and angry children!

Turning 50 years this year, Yoshitomo Nara's artwork is suprisingly young-looking.
I long thought that Yoshimoto Nara was a 30ish young female.

I adore the angry expressive figures and figurines.

She is in the trees (and birds, rabbits and balloons) - Kazumi Ozaki

30-ish Japanese artist Kazumi Ozaki makes wonderful artwork
with watercolors and a silkscreen machine.

I think it is very cute, and I also really like the simplicity in the use of colors.
Many of the pieces are of trees, birds, rabbits, a long-haired girl and balloons - which all are good things.

See her website here if you are not afraid of Japanese and
view her artwork here if you find Japanese a bit confusing.

Anyuu Rizumu in wonderland

Beautiful, and part quirky, part sad, and part scaryish art
by 28 year old Japanese artist Anyuu Rizumu.
In my opinion, it is also part Alice in Wonderlandish
